The Hunt
Discover what separates this experience from all others
Located on the banks of the Big Sioux River, the river bottom is a natural attraction to wildlife. You will be surrounded by over a decade of conservation practices geared towards developing natural habitation for pheasants. The land has been developed to have large numbers of pheasants consistently year after year. This opportunity will be available only a limited number of weekends per hunting season to select few to guarantee a continued thriving population of pheasants year after year.
A Typical Day
As soon as you wake up, hunters will be served a hot, homemade breakfast to fuel you for the day. When everyone is ready, it's time to seize the big hunt. The bus loads up with all the hunters, gear, and dogs, to take you out to the fields. After a few hours of hard work, it's certain that everyone will have an appetite for some lunch back at The Lodge. If the group fulfills the pheasant count, you can shoot some sporting clays, hang out on the patio, have some drinks, and share some laughs with your loved ones. But more often than not, after filling up on lunch the group will take another trip out for an afternoon hunting session to complete the job. Everyone will head back around dinner time, and is served some delicious homemade appetizers along with a big meal. After dinner is the time to kick back, watch a game on TV, play some cards, have some drinks, and sit around the fire together. When it's time to wrap up the night, your fresh linens will be waiting to reset for the next day.
